- Aug 2020: I spent two days hanging out with folks at the SDDI 2020 virtual workshop and discussing diversity and inclusion in software engineering. [Trip Report]
- Dec 2019: My paper on Computing Students' Learning Difficulties in HCI Education was accepted to CHI 2020! This paper catalogs 18 types of difficulties faced by HCI students in introductory design classes. We can use this knowledge to develop more effective teaching techniques. - May 2019: I followed up on my previous musings about PhD life by framing the grad student experience as a design problem with the Design Thinking framework. [Blog Post]
- April 2019: I got a chance to check out the CRA-W Grad Cohort Workshop for women in computing and found a new community and new vision for the future of CS research. [Trip Report]
